Our Foundation

CeeJay Software was founded by Craig Laird Jamieson, Eneth Jamieson, and Jim Jamieson in 2000 as a business we have grown ever since, becoming a limited company in 2011.

CeeJay works with multinational organisations, universities, schools, banks as well as governments located both within the UK and in countries including Switzerland, America, Australia, South Africa, France, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Belgium, and Dubai.

Our head office is located in Edinburgh in Scotland with additional offices in Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

With CeeJay providing endpoint data protection since 2011 as we were the Code42 CrashPlan Enterprise partner for Europe and UK, and getting more knowledge about this market let us know the deficiencies of data protection and backup solutions which eventually led us to our mission: provide a reliable, fast, easy-to-use backup solution to everyone.

In this way, in 2014 we started the development of our own backup and cloud storage solutions.

We picked up a bit of reliability, innovation, and technology, and we launched CeeJay Device To Cloud Backup in 2017.

CeeJay Device To Cloud Backup is our unique solution and is designed to backup servers, laptops and desktop computers

CeeJay Cloud To Cloud with Artificial Intelligence launched in 2020 to backup Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365 with the ability to backup other Cloud Solutions being added later in 2022.

We also like to share here, at CeeJay Software in this case, we have a team of resellers who are IT professionals providing Backup Intelligence to their own clients.
